The Ballapalooza Story...
Besides crafting unique, one of a kind Christmas ornaments, we explored the realm of antique restoration, saving items which were destined for the landfill and giving them new life. In 2007, Rhapsody was established in the Town & Country shopping center of Kettering, OH. Following the new opening of our beautiful, brand-new shop, I quickly began working with several new ideas.
Now, after thirteen amazing years, we have grown beyond our greatest expectations, including participating in twelve different festivals within the Ohio and Indiana regions and have moved to Fairfield Commons mall in Beavercreek. We currently feature a plethora of many different unique items, ranging from Natural Life products, Spazz Monkey 3D Wall Art, Annie Sloan chalk painted furniture and of course my beautifully, hand-crafted Christmas ornaments. If you’re looking for gifts with purpose, made with quality, passion and crafted in the good old USA, you’ve found the right place!
(Through the words of Joanne Weaver: Founder, CEO, and Creative Officer of Rhapsody)
Throughout my life, creativity has always circulated everything I do. Anything and everything which was art related, inspired my own ventures to take art into my own hands. As I grew up, I became more familiar with other forms of art, expressing my love for nature and the world around me, through my own creations.
In 2005, my husband and I started a fundraiser for our son’s high school football team where we created unique, hand-crafted Christmas ornaments and decorations. After witnessing how many ornaments sold during the fundraiser, my husband and I decided to pursue the business potential behind my passion for creativity.
